Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers purchase roofing, building, and remodeling products. You will determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products, and you will process sales orders and payments to customer accounts.

Responsibilities include following a product checklist, upselling, coordinating warehouse pickups, tracking deliveries, and keeping shelves stocked while addressing service concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders; process payments to customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer pick ups with the warehouse and track deliveries.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked and address service concerns as they arise.
