Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative. You will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting sales growth through product knowledge, quotations, order management, and building relationships with contractors, builders, homeowners, and commercial customers.

Collaborate with Outside Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Delivery teams to ensure accurate, efficient orders and a top-notch customer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have front-line customer service and sales experience.
• Experience in construction or building materials is a plus.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow up with customers and team.
• Eager to learn and retain product information.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for price quotes and orders.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup with operations teams.
• Support Outside Sales team and provide product information.
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies.

What you’ll do:

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting sales growth through product knowledge, quotations, order management, and customer relationship development. This role serves as a primary point of contact for contractors, builders, homeowners, and commercial customers by assisting with product selection, pricing, order processing, and project support. Working closely with Outside Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Delivery teams, the Inside Sales Representative ensures customer orders are completed accurately and efficiently while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

• Receive and process requests for price quotes, orders, returns, cancellations, product information and availability, billing inquiries, and corrections
• Plan and implement telemarketing and prospecting objectives
• Coordinate delivery and pick up of orders with operations teams
• Provide support to Outside Sales team
• Adhere to pricing guidelines and policies of customer financial services

What you’ll bring:

• Previous front-line customer service and sales experience
• Industry experience with construction or building materials a plus
• Spanish bilingual proficiency a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate and follow-up with customers, vendors, team members, and management
• Eagerness and ability to learn and retain vast amounts of product information
