The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for managing and developing relationships within an assigned customer base. This role responds to inbound inquiries, conducts targeted outbound outreach, processes orders, resolves customer issues, and provides product and solution guidance aligned to customer needs. The ISR plays a key role in driving revenue, supporting customer retention, and delivering a consistent , high-quality customer experience through accurate execution and effective communication.
Estimated to make 15-30 outbound calls per day to assigned/designated customers to develop new business and gain share of potential and wallet share/contribution.
Processes customer requests for pricing, information, and availability regarding products.
Processes customer orders for products both in stock and special order.
Identifies, researches, and resolves customer issues using the computer system.
Responsible for following up on customer inquiries not immediately resolved.
Provides customers with product and service information and promotes Up-selling products and services.
Responsible for completing call logs and reports.
Research billing issues.
Raise awareness and communicate with management of trends in customer calls.
Coaches’ customers how they can utilize computer systems to assist in resolving problems.
Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
This full-time position requires approximately 40 hours per week and involves regular physical and sensory activity, including:
Prolonged sitting (up to 8 hours), with intermittent standing and walking throughout the shift
Continuous use of fingers, hands, and arms for computer and office-related tasks
