New Castle Building Products, a full-service distributor, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative at our Piscataway, NJ location to specialize in commercial building materials.

Ideal candidates are outgoing with strong communication skills; we will train the right person and support growth within a fast-paced, customer-focused team environment.

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to retain working knowledge on a wide range of building materials.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication or metal roofing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing quotes for potential customers
• Preparing computer generated work orders for customers
• Handle and process customer returns
• Work closely with Branch Manager
• Develop and maintain a working technical knowledge of products sold
• Coordinate customer delivery requirements with the dispatcher
• Occasional purchasing of inventory
• Maintain material stock in showroom
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Our location based in Piscataway, NJ is seeking an Inside Sales Representative who specializes in Commercial Sales - Building Materials. In this role, candidates should have an outgoing personality, good communication skills and like to work with the general public. However, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities

• Preparing quotes for potential customers
• Preparing computer generated work orders for customers
• Handle and process customer returns
• Work closely with Branch Manager
• Develop and maintain a working technical knowledge of products sold
• Coordinate customer delivery requirements with the dispatcher
• Occasional purchasing of inventory
• Maintain material stock in showroom
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Wage Range: $25 - $34/hour plus additional benefits. In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
