Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a procurement-focused professional to support purchasing, quotations, and supply chain activities. You will interact with vendors and customers, review specifications, and prepare accurate, competitive quotes.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, timely delivery, and collaborative work with sales and internal teams. Training is provided, and background checks are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with purchasing, quoting, or supply chain preferred.
• Experience interfacing with all levels of an organization.
• Construction/Electrical industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for procurement functions: sourcing, purchasing, and shipment coordination.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Develop comprehensive quotes with vendors and internal teams.
• Process orders from receipt to project completion, including PO issuance.
• Coordinate with Sales to clarify project requirements and timelines.
• Assist internal departments with purchasing and quoting needs.
• Handle various administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness.

Candidate must be detail-oriented and able to re-prioritize work in a rapidly changing environment. Experience is preferred, but not required as training would be provided to the right candidate.Provide support for all procurement functions, including: competitive sourcing, purchasing, and arranging for shipment of materialsRespond appropriately and professionally to customer inquiriesWork with vendors and/or internal departments to provide comprehensive quotes to customersReview customer specifications and work with vendors and internal departments as needed to ensure quotes are technically correct and competitiveProcess customer orders from receipt of order to project completion, including: initial order entry and setup, issuance of purchase orders to vendors, and/or coordinate order with internal departments as requiredCoordinate with Sales Representatives to determine and/or clarify customer project requirementsSupport internal departments with their purchasing and quoting needsVarious administrative and clerical dutiesQualifications and Competencies:2+ years experience with purchasing, quoting, or supply chain, preferredExperience interfacing and communicating with all levels of an organizationKnowledge of contract principlesConstruction/ Electrical industry experience or knowledgeThorough attention to detailStrong prioritization skillsAble to work with time sensitive deadlines on a regular basisReliable, organized, detail-oriented, and focusedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to professionally represent the company and exercise discretion when in supply chain related decisionsAdaptable to a rapid changing and demanding environmentAble to communicate clearly and professionally (both orally and written)Possess good negotiation and problem resolution skillsFamiliar with procurement and quoting processesAble to work independently while having a team mindset and working as a dynamic unitCompetent with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookDriving to customers and vendors may be required in this role.Must be willing to confidently submit to the background and drug screening process.You’ll thrive at IPS if you…• Lead with integrity and prioritize safety.
