The role of the Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is to maximize the productivity of our Advanced Technology Sales Team by partnering with and supporting our Client Executives and other Field Sales Coworkers.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and distribute product configurations and customer quotes using online tools.
  • Process orders accurately and promptly via SPS and AS400 systems.
  • Interact directly with customers to provide order updates, quotes, and handle requests.
  • Manage return merchandise authorizations.
  • Coordinate hardware scheduling with services.
  • Check for rebates and promotions applicable to customer orders.
  • Provide consistent customer service updates on orders and quotes.
  • Configure hardware based on best practice standards.
  • Attend weekly team meetings to build relationships with sales colleagues.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant products, promotions, and announcements.
  • Engage in training to develop product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Complete Partner Product accreditation if applicable.
  • Build customer relationships to serve as a backup when the primary sales contact is unavailable.
  • Proactively provide pertinent information to clients.
  • Develop good internal department relationships.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What we expect of you:

  • Experience in the technology industry or 2 years of non-retail sales experience.
  • Proficiency with Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Confidence in customer interactions.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Ability to make decisions impacting the work unit.
  • Ability to understand and communicate routine information.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
  • College Degree required.
  • Experience in selling hardware, software, solutions, or services.
  • Certifications in Advanced Technology (e.g., Cisco).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the AT industry.
  • Knowledge of internal CDW systems (AS400 / SPS).
