Job summary

Gexpro in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative-Commercial Construction to drive proactive inside sales and marketing efforts with the goal of increasing profitable sales.

The role focuses on establishing and maintaining customer relationships, processing quotes and orders, expanding product knowledge, and prospecting for growth within the existing customer base. Compensation is dependent on experience and capabilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service, sales, or electrical distribution.
• High School or GED required.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM tools.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders with quotes, delivery terms and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales by processing priority transactions.
• Use digital tools to sell, market and demonstrate products.
• Prospect for new accounts within territory.
• Manage customer base and maintain relationships.
• Close orders and resolve issues with root-cause analysis.
