Plumbers Supply Co. in Evansville seeks an Inside Sales Associate to drive sales and support customer relationships at our Indiana location. You will manage orders, respond to inquiries, and coordinate delivery while collaborating with the outside sales and distribution teams.

The role requires 2+ years in sales, strong product knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and P21 ERP. A high school diploma is required; further sales or marketing education is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales role, with a strong preference for inside sales or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate product information and sales terms effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems, specifically P21.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in sales or marketing are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Deliver outstanding service by managing customer interactions and transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns.
• Sales Execution: Generate new and repeat sales by providing detailed product and technical information, and recommend alternatives based on needs.
• Operational Management: Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment and expedite shipments as needed.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the P21 system, ensuring all customer and transaction data is up-to-date.
• Team Collaboration: Work with outside sales and distribution teams to meet monthly sales quotas and gross margin targets.
