Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies' Fluid Power Sales division is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to build and expand relationships with current and prospective customers across our fluid power line, including manifolds, pumps, cylinders, valves, hose, fittings and hydraulics.

The ideal candidate has industrial sales experience, strong computer and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently; an Associate’s Degree or equivalent inside-sales experience is required, with bonuses

Responsibilities

• Confer with customers and factory representatives to assess equipment needs based on application requirements.
• Achieve sales and profit goals by developing existing customers, opening new business, and customer retention.
• Conduct sales and customer service activities, develop strong customer relationships, identify product applications, and introduce new products and services.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up, and negotiate terms, and close transactions.
