Job summary

Zygo/Navitar seeks an Inside Sales Rep based in Rochester, NY to drive growth for the Navitar line. You will collaborate with customers, engineering, product management, and regional sales to grow profitable opportunities and manage pricing, quotes, and an accurate pipeline in Salesforce.

The role requires at least 2 years of technical sales experience, a Bachelor’s in engineering, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required with at least 2 years of technical sales experience.
• Proven hunter mentality and ability to generate new business while growing existing accounts.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with experience managing opportunities and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, resilient, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Lead generation through cold calling to expand the customer base.
• Bridge customer needs with Navitar products and provide information to customers and distributors.
• Demonstrate products to prospective customers and support web sales and distributors.
