Job summary

Crane Resistoflex is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer Intern to blend commercial and technical duties, focusing on international order entry, export compliance, and collaboration with Engineering Sustaining Services and customers. You will provide verbal and written quotations, follow up revisions, and work with Field Sales to close orders, clarify Purchase Orders, and ensure accurate Sales Order entry.

This role supports timely shipping, invoicing, and continuous improvement of order processes

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Engineering or related field.
• Exceptional listener with excellent time management, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, competitive, and a team player.
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
• 1-2 years of experience in an Inside Sales or Customer Service environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a relationship with Field Sales to ensure closed loop communication.
• Provide verbal and written quotations; track and follow-up on quotation activity.
• Analyze commercial and technical specs for bid compliance; propose alternatives to improve margins or lead times.
• Consult with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Field Sales, and customers for quote coordination.
• Enter Sales Orders with complete instructions and support order/quote processes to ship and bill promptly.
