TECHLITE Acoustics & Insulation, a division of The Zippertubing Company, is seeking an Acoustics Customer Support Associate / Inside Sales in Tempe, AZ. This onsite, full-time role supports customers from quote through delivery, manages orders, and coordinates with Sales, Engineering, and Quality teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer-facing or order-processing roles, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with CRM systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or order-processing role or B2B Inside Sales.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Manufacturing environment experience (preferred).
• Experience supporting customized or engineered-to-order products (preferred).
• Ability to multi-task and understand priorities.
• English proficiency and basic math/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone, email, live chat, and in person in a timely and professional manner.
• Build trusted relationships by providing responsive, professional service.
• Keep customers informed throughout the order lifecycle.
• Review and process quotes and orders for completeness and accuracy before production and invoicing.
• Manage orders on hold for PO revisions, payments, etc.
• Coordinate with Technical Sales, Quality, and Engineering on custom inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
• Process returns (RMA) and manage related documentation.
• CRM queue management and accurate payment processing for orders.

The Acoustics Customer Support Coordinator / Inside Sales role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting B2B customers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, managing orders, details, and communication from quote through delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers via phone, email, live chat, and in person in a timely and professional manner
• Build trusted relationships by providing responsive, professional service.
• Keep customers informed throughout the order lifecycle.
• Ensure the solution complies with customer-provided specifications
• Serve as a primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries and onsite visitors as needed
• Review and process all quotes and orders for completeness and accuracy (bill to, ship to, part number, quantity, pricing, etc.) before orders are released to production and invoiced to the customer
• Manage orders that are 'on hold' for PO revisions, payment, etc.
• Ensure complete details of custom solution inquiries are provided to our Technical Sales, Quality, and Engineering departments
• Manage cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicate the changes with the related departments promptly
• Maintain accurate records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner
• RMA (Return material authorization) processing and tracking. Maintain proper knowledge to backup as necessary if not primary duty
• CRM Queue Management
• Accurate payment processing for orders and samples
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

• 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or order-processing role or B2B Inside Sales
• Superior attention to detail
• Manufacturing environment experience (Preferred)
• Experience supporting customized or engineered-to-order products (Preferred)
• Ability to multi-task and understand priorities
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered
• A working knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software or good technical aptitude
• Strong math, computer, and documentation skills
• Good internal and external verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Desire to learn products and processes and excel in both

Compensation:

• $41,600 - $54,080 per year based on experience / $20 - $26 per hour DOE

Environment / Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in a multi-occupied open office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The position involves sitting, talking and, hearing throughout the 8-10-hour shift. Physical Demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a step ladder or climb stairs as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
