Job summary

Portland Glass is seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative to join the team in Augusta, ME. You will deliver outstanding customer service in person and by phone, generate and follow up on leads, and manage quotes and estimates with customers.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years in customer service, strong communication, and solid MS Office skills. A comprehensive benefits package is provided, supporting stability and growth.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in customer service within an office/shop setting is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test per applicable state laws.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.
• Making outside calls to generate leads/follow up on lead inquiries.
• Following up on job estimates and quotes with customers.
• Admin duties such as scheduling glass installations, placing orders, receiving product, confirming appointments, collecting payments, invoicing, and communicating with insurance companies.
