LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join our team in a customer-facing role focused on promoting sales of parts and services. Starting pay ranges from $20-22 per hour, DOE, with opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500 company.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, providing product information, processing orders, and maintaining accurate documentation. Prior automotive experience and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of related experience.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.
• Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work orders, returns, etc.).
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
• Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and other needed information.
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of part if requested part is not available.
• Process orders – enter, review, and handle pricing, quantities and shipping data.
• Follow-up with customers as needed.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Starting pay $20-22/hr DOE.

Responsible for generating revenue by promoting sales of new and existing company products, providing customer service, evaluating customer needs, and answering questions regarding parts, pricing, and services.

Essential Job Duties

• Provide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.
• Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work order and/or interchange and returns, etc.).
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
• Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.
• Process orders – perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data (may dispatch orders in some locations).
• Follow-up with customers as needed.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED 1+ years of related experience required

Preferred Requirements

• College coursework or degree.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
