Job summary

LKQ Corporation is hiring in Phoenix, AZ for a customer-centric sales support role. You will promote sales of new and existing parts, provide product information, and process orders with accuracy.

The position emphasizes building relationships, meeting customer needs, and supporting transactions across warranty, pricing, and delivery aspects. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years of related experience, and preferably college coursework or a degree.

• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales of company products and provide customer service.

• Process orders and ensure correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers.
• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, delays, and other information.
• Advise customers on substitutions or modifications if parts unavailable.
• Follow up with customers as needed.
• Complete internal documents supporting transactions.

Responsible for generating revenue by promoting sales of new and existing company products, providing customer service, evaluating customer needs, and answering questions regarding parts, pricing, and services.

Essential Job Duties

• Provide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.
• Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work order and/or interchange and returns, etc.).
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
• Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.
• Process orders – perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data (may dispatch orders in some locations).
• Follow-up with customers as needed.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years of related experience required

Preferred Requirements

• College coursework or degree.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
• Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
