Job summary

LKQ Corporation is hiring for a customer-facing sales role in Colorado. You will promote LKQ products, assist customers with parts information, pricing, and services, and process orders efficiently to support revenue growth.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience, with potential for bilingual English/Spanish candidates. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered as part of LKQ’s team culture.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales of new and existing LKQ products, provide customer service, assess customer needs and answer questions on parts, pricing and services
• Provide information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods
• Complete internal documents supporting transactions (credits, invoices, work orders, returns)
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business
• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, delays, and other relevant information
• Advise customers on substitutions or modifications if a part is unavailable
• Process orders – entry, review, pricing, quantities, shipping data; may dispatch orders
• Follow-up with customers as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for generating revenue by promoting sales of new and existing company products, providing customer service, evaluating customer needs, and answering questions regarding parts, pricing, and services.
• Provide relevant information on warranties, price, quality of parts, delivery times, and payment methods.
• Complete internal documents supporting any transaction (credits, invoices, work order and/or interchange and returns, etc.).
• Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers to cultivate new business.
• Inform customer of unit prices, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer.
• Advise customers on substitution or modification of part when part requested is not available.
• Process orders – perform order entry, review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data (may dispatch orders in some locations).
• Follow-up with customers as needed.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years of related experience required

Preferred Requirements

• College coursework or degree.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently.
• Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
