Job summary

Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa in Tampa, FL is seeking an Inside Sales Associate for our busy retail pool store. You’ll greet customers, answer questions, recommend chemicals, equipment and accessories, and process sales using our POS system.

Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated Inside Sales Associate to join our team at a busy retail pool store. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers in person and on the phone, helping them find the right chemicals, equipment, parts, and accessories while supporting day-to-day store operations and outside tech teams.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
• Answer phones with excellent etiquette and assist callers with product questions, pricing, and order status
• Help customers choose the right pool chemicals, equipment, and supplies
• Process sales and basic orders using our point-of-sale system
• Follow up on customer inquiries, communicate with tech teams, and support sales goals
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized and restocked as needed
• Learn our product lines and stay current on seasonal pool needs

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communication skills (both in person and on the phone)
• Good phone etiquette and a professional, friendly demeanor
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Basic computer knowledge (comfort with email, simple software, and point-of-sale systems)
• A genuine desire to learn and grow in the role

Nice to Have

• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience
• Any familiarity with pool products or the pool industry (we’ll train you either way)
• Experience with inventory systems or retail POS (we'll train you either way)
