Job summary

This role blends customer service, technical product knowledge, and sales support, requiring HVAC familiarity, strong communication, and proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office. On-site in Salt Lake City with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of inside sales, customer service, or counter sales experience (HVAC, plumbing, or building products preferred)
• HVAC product knowledge or strong willingness to learn
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transaction-heavy environment
• Proficient with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and walk-ins
• Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and order confirmations
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently in the ERP system
• Support internal sales teams with pricing, product availability, and documentation
• Assist customers with equipment selection, parts identification, and basic technical questions
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and order records

About the role

An Inside Sales Associate is a key customer-facing role responsible for supporting contractors and internal teams by providing product recommendations, preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth experience from inquiry through fulfillment. Expected compensation: $29.00-35.00/hour
