Job summary

Lippert Components is seeking a full-time Customer Support/Inside Sales role in Waxahachie, TX. You will develop customer relationships, track requests, learn product features, and provide accurate responses via phone and email. You will assist with new accounts and coordinate with production and sales teams to drive opportunities.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience with Navision/AX, and strong communication skills. Local travel may be required; overtime may be necessary.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Navision and AX systems; proficiency with Outlook and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Lippert production processes and procedures.
  • Clear and respectful communication with customers (internal & external).
  • Ability to work independently under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be customer centric and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Track and follow customer requests to completion.
  • Learn product features and provide specs for configured lines.
  • Run reports for the Report Server to obtain customer information.
  • Work with operations to respond to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Assist with setup of new accounts (credit application, etc).
  • Support the sales team and facilitate RGR process with local plants.
  • Provide daily support to assign outside sales team.
  • Source new sales opportunities via calls and emails.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.

Essential Functions
  1. Develop and maintain meaningful relationships (with Customers and Co- Workers).
  2. The ability to track and follow all customer request until complete.
  3. The ability to learn new products and their key features.
  4. Run various reports for the Report Server to obtain needed customer information.
  5. Work with operations teams to provide quick and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  6. Develop and provide specs for configured product lines as needed by the customers or outside sales team members.
  7. Assist with initial contact and setup of new accounts. (credit application, etc)
  8. Help facilitate and maintain the RGR process with all local production plants.
  9. Provide daily support to assign outside sales team.
  10. Variety of other misc. tasks that will vary from day to day.
  11. Source new sales opportunities and build relationships through phone calls and emails
  12. Understand customer needs and requirements
  13. Work with appropriate sales executives to further develop opportunities
  14. Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, however, potential direct reports are a possibility.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.

Travel

Local travel is expected for this position.

Preferred Education and Experience
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. System experience with Navision and AX
  3. System experience with both Navision and AX. Including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  4. Knowledge and understanding of LCI's production processes and procedures.
  5. Well-spoken individual who can communicate clearly and respectfully with customer (internal & external) via phone or email.
  6. Ability to work independently, under pressure to meet deadlines/timelines.
  7. Team player, open to change and changing priorities a must.
  8. Demonstrated high sense of urgency; organizational skills and time management.
  9. Possess a strong ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast passed environment.
  10. Must be able to remain collected in stressful situations
  11. Capable of working within a team based structure.
  12. Willing and able to work overtime, when necessary.
  13. MUST BE CUSTOMER CENTRIC!
