Position Overview

Power Systems West (PSW) is a Portland, Oregon based, family‑owned business with a 70‑year history. We are a distributor for Rehlko (formerly Kohler) and provide power solutions throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are looking for an Inside Sales Associate to work with our Outside Sales team, ensuring accurate and timely quotes for projects that move to Project Management.

Job Details

Location: Portland, OR 97209
Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year
Role: Inside Sales Associate – primarily office‑based with collaboration among team members.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review specs and one‑line diagrams with Outside Sales to create accurate quotes for customers.
• Create quotes using Rehlko’s QuickPack system and request quotes from multiple vendors.
• Send quotes to customers and refresh expired quotes as needed.
• Complete all tasks to prepare the project for the Project Manager.
• Participate in strategy, scrub, and handoff meetings with Outside Sales and Project Management to ensure correct project setup.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Customer Service, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or Capital Equipment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, construction plans, and regulatory documents.
• Strong time‑management, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, online portals, and general internet browsers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload independently.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay between $60,000 and $75,000 per year, with eligibility for quarterly incentive and discretionary year‑end bonus.
