Job summary

CGC Home Services in Howell, Michigan is seeking a competitive inside sales representative who can turn conversations into opportunities and close sales over the phone.

You will make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers, respond to incoming leads, set qualified appointments for our outside sales team, and maintain a high-volume, KPI-driven follow-up process in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Location: This position is physically located at our headquarters in Howell, Michigan

Who You Are:

We are looking for a competitive, motivated inside sales representative who knows how to turn conversations into opportunities-and opportunities into sales.

This is not a position for someone who simply reads a script and makes calls. We are looking for someone who can built rapport quickly, ask the right questions, overcome objections, confidently ask for the appointment, and close sales over the phone when the opportunity is there.

What you’ll do

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers
• Respond to and follow up with incoming leads
• Set qualified appointments for our outside sales team
• Follow up consistently with leads that have not scheduled
• Re-engage previous customers and older opportunities
• Follow up on unsold estimates and work to close the sale
• Identify buying signals and close deals directly over the phone
• Handle common objections involving price, timing, competition, financing, and decision makers
• Maintain an organized follow-up pipeline
• Meet daily and weekly KPI’s for calls, contacts, appointments, follow-ups, and sales

Who we’re looking for-

You should be

• Confident and persuasive without being pushy
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
• Excellent at building rapport over the phone
• Able to listen, ask questions, and uncover what the customer actually needs
• Comfortable handling rejection and objections
• Persistent with follow-up
• Competitive and motivated by measurable goals
• Organized and able to manage multiple opportunities at different stages
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, performance-driven sales environment
