Job summary

Global Compression Services in Houston, TX is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to utilize communication and sales skills to highlight our products and solutions for customers in the natural gas compression industry. You will develop meaningful customer relationships, support outside sales, and actively manage house accounts.

Responsibilities include quotes, orders, after-hours callouts, and coordination with vendors, with a focus on meeting sales goals and delivering customer value.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Successful completion of GCS Inside Sales training program.
• Valid drivers' license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develops meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
• Works as a team with outside sales to service our external customers.
• Actively manages assigned house accounts.
• Follows up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process.
• Sets and meets sales goals and objectives set by leadership.
• Discusses use and features of various parts and services.
• Prepares quotes for external customers and outside sales.
• Completes sales orders for external customers and outside sales.
• Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available.
• Receives and fills telephone orders for parts.
• Administer shop repair jobs and parts requirements.
• Maintain warranty and factory repairs with vendors.
• Responsible for After hours’ callout duty.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

What you’ll need
