Job summary

Nox Metals, a Detroit-based technology company supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers, seeks an Inside Sales professional to turn RFQs into shipped orders.

You’ll own inbound RFQs, provide fast, accurate quotes, lock in specs, push orders into production, and keep customers informed throughout.

Collaborate with scheduling, quality, supply chain, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery from open to delivered.

Qualifications

• Experience turning RFQs into orders with accurate specs.
• Ability to quote quickly and lock specs from drawings and POs.
• Strong communication to keep customers informed.

Responsibilities

• Own inbound RFQs and end-to-end quoting; estimate jobs, run nests, validate scrap, and create clean NOX NEST jobs.
• Push orders into production with all details right (alloy, temper, thickness, tolerances, certs, ship date, packaging).
• Work with scheduling to commit dates you can hit and hit the dates you commit to.
• Own the customer relationship inside the four walls: quotes, follow-ups, confirmations, status updates.
• Catch issues before they become problems, including missing specs, mismatched POs, and conflicting cert requirements.
• Coordinate with quality, supply chain, and shipping on every order from open to delivered.

Nox Metals is a Detroit-based technology company supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers, using software and automation to move metal faster than the industry thought possible.

We need an Inside Sales hire to turn RFQs into shipped orders: fast, accurate quotes, specs locked in tight, orders pushed cleanly into production, and customers kept in the loop the whole way. You’ll own the inbox, the front door of the company.

You will:

• Own inbound RFQs and quoting end to end, estimate jobs in WAYNE, run nests, validate scrap, and turn drawings, specs, and POs into clean jobs in NOX NEST
• Push orders into production with every detail right (alloy, temper, thickness, tolerances, certs, ship date, packaging)
• Work with scheduling to commit dates we can hit and hit the dates we commit to
• Own the customer relationship inside the four walls: quotes, follow-ups, confirmations, status updates
• Catch issues before they become problems, including missing specs, mismatched POs, and conflicting cert requirements
• Coordinate with quality, supply chain, and shipping on every order from open to delivered
