Job summary

Plumb Supply Company in North Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a dependable team member for a full-time role. You will interact with customers in person and by phone to assess needs and determine the right level of service, while applying extensive product knowledge to convey competitive advantages.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience and great communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Proficient with Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

Plumb Supply Company has an opportunity for a dependable person with a great attitude, attention to detail and a team player to join their North Cedar Rapids, IA team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday with overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers both in person and over the phone to analyze both current and future needs to determine the most appropriate level of service/sales
• Demonstrate comprehensive company product knowledge to customers and effectively articulate company's competitive advantage
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Provide occasional order picking and miscellaneous warehouse duties, as the need arises
• Provide occasional deliveries to customer's shops or jobsites
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge preferred
• Successful customer service experience and great communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and customers both in person and over the phone
• Strong PC skills with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escape appropriately
• Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)
