Job summary

Plumb Supply Company in Laurie, MO is seeking a dependable team member to join our store team. We offer opportunities for growth and competitive pay in a full-time role with Monday–Friday hours and overtime as required.

Responsibilities include helping customers, applying product knowledge, loading/unloading trucks, fulfilling orders, and performing local deliveries. Candidates should have strong communication and time management skills and be comfortable with PC tasks.

Qualifications

• Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work professionally with coworkers and customers.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers in person and over the phone to determine service/sales needs.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and articulate competitive advantages.
• Load/unload trucks using dollies, forklifts, and other tools as needed.
• Unload, inspect, store, and shift incoming product.
• Scan, pick, and load customer orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Local deliveries to customers' shops or job sites.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with overtime as required.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers both in person and over the phone to analyze both current and future needs to determine the most appropriate level of service/sales
• Demonstrate comprehensive company product knowledge to customers and effectively articulate the company's competitive advantage
• Load and unload trucks using dollies, dolly carts, forklifts, and other tools as needed
• Unload, inspect, store, and shift incoming product
• Scan, pick, and load customer orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Local deliveries to customers' shops or job sites
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Plumbing and/or HVAC knowledge preferred
• Great communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and customers both in person and over the phone
• Strong PC skills with Microsoft knowledge
• Ideal candidate must be successful, highly motivated, goal-oriented, and have excellent time management skills
• Must pass pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, and driving record check)
