Job summary

Palmer Trucks is seeking a Parts Sales Representative-Inside to help customers find the right parts for their trucks, in person or by phone. You will work with customers, mechanics and peers to order parts for repairs, enhancements or general needs, and assist in stocking the showroom.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering calls promptly, suggesting products, processing payments, maintaining displays, and supporting service technicians with parts.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to research and process orders efficiently.
• Computer proficiency in order processing.
• Working hours may include evenings, weekends or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with parts needs.
• Answer the telephone promptly with a greeting and assist with inquiries.
• Suggest additional products and/or services to meet customer needs.
• Process cash, credit, and checks per dealership procedures.
• Provide parts to service technicians as required.
• Maintain showroom floor and displays to dealership standards.
