Job Responsibilities:

• Setup and machining of components on manual and CNC lathes, mills, Horizontal Boring machines, multi-axis machining centers, wire EDM, etc.
• Precision measurement of part dimensions
• Completion of hardcopy and electronic documentation
• Work independently with minimal supervision

You must be able to work and train on all shifts.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma, GED, or 2+ years related technical experience
• 5+ years of experience with CNC Machining, setup, programming, or operation
• Ability to work all shifts
• Ability to read blueprints

Preferred:

• Technical School education
• Successful completion of the Eastern CT Workforce Investment Board Manufacturing Pipeline Initiative Training Program

Skills

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical detail drawings, including GD&T, G&M codes, and weld joint symbols
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
