General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking an Inside Machinist in Groton, CT to set up and machine components on manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, and wire EDM. The role requires precision measurement of parts and completion of documentation, with opportunities to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 0–5 years of CNC experience; training on all shifts is available.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or have 2+ years related technical experience.
• 0-5 years of experience with CNC Machining set-up, Programming, or Operating Machines.
• Must be able to work all shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

The Inside Machinist is responsible for:

• The setup and machining of components on manual and CNClathes, mills, Horizontal Boring machines, multi axis machining centers, wire EDM etc.

You must be able to work and train on all shifts.
