Job summary

The Inside Liner at this manufacturing facility will set up and operate all inside liner equipment according to customer specifications, monitor the line, and ensure high quality production.

You will read blueprints, perform changeovers, document measurements, and communicate with fellow operators to address any issues and uphold safety and quality standards.

• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment.

• Observe machine operations to detect faults and make adjustments for the line.
• Communicate with fellow operators to update on production.
• Perform routine quality checks and record findings to ensure cans meet job specs.
• Obtain coating weights and record information for EPA data analysis.
• Proficiently perform changeovers and production of aluminum containers to customer specs.
• Authority to stop/modify work for non-conformance or unsafe conditions.
• Report food safety concerns to QA manager.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Inside Liner will set up and operate equipment based on job specifications set by the customer. Job Duties

• Read blueprints and can drawings to determine job specifications and tooling.
• Set up and operate all inside liner equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on inside liner related equipment.
• Observe machine operations to detect machine faults and make adjustments necessary for the line.
• Communication with fellow operators to update on production.
• Perform routine quality checks and record findings to ensure cans are meeting job specifications.
• Obtain coating weights and record information for EPA data analysis.
• Proficiently perform changeovers and production of aluminum containers to the specifications set by the customer.
• Authority to stop and/or modify work processes due to non-conformance and/or unsafe working conditions.
• Report all potential food safety concerns to the quality assurance manager.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Blueprint reading.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Possess excellent verbal communication skills.
• Measuring skills using calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Quality control skills.
• Must be a team player and possess a "can do" attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time on concrete floor.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

This role is in a manufacturing environment and the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts that produce noise.
