Job summary

Kalkreuth Roofing and Sheet Metal is seeking an Inside Construction Manager to coordinate project administration, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication from an office setting. You will work closely with Outside Project Managers to ensure documentation, controls, and progress align with company objectives.

The role demands strong coordination across engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and customers, plus timely reporting and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of construction coordination or project management experience.
• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews contract and estimate with estimator for completeness of take-off and pricing.
• Coordinates all contract scope issues with estimate and resolves discrepancies.
• Partners with Outside Project Managers to manage projects from initiation to closeout.
• Generates purchase requisitions for roof system materials and subcontractors.
• Reviews new issue drawings and RFIs and responds timely.
• Manage change order pricing and use estimating when required.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, and status reporting.
• Coordinate activities among engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and customers.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy and alignment with work.
