Job Responsibilities
  • Support the Procurement team with various procurement and vendor-related duties.
  • Update and maintain product/vendor data in internal systems, including expected dates, notes, and work order status.
  • Review vendor order acknowledgments for accuracy and ensure timely receipt of materials.
  • Monitor vendor back-orders, shipments, and tracking of source products.
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm order placements using PO numbers.
  • Maintain vendor scorecards to reflect customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Reconcile purchase orders and invoices.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and other departments to meet company goals.
  • Assist in organizing meetings and preparing/auditing RFPs.
  • Generate reports on supplier performance, spending, and cost savings.
  • Manage general services such as purchasing office supplies and handling facility issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not involve supervising employees.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College coursework preferred.
  • Automotive background preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Basic math skills for handling units of measure.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with moderate complexity.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Primarily sedentary work requiring extended sitting and computer use.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Periodic travel, including overnight stays (up to 10%).
