Job summary

Sadoff Iron & Metal is seeking an Inside Buyer / Commercial Analyst to support the commercial team with purchasing, analytics, and administrative tasks. This developmental role offers growth toward an Account Representative position as commercial knowledge and decision-making authority expand.

The role involves routine purchasing, pricing analysis, reporting, and collaboration with Executive Traders and Account Representatives to drive profitability and customer success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of purchasing, supply chain, logistics, and commercial operations.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with pricing, margin analysis, and forecasting.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Support inside purchasing and buying activities, including supplier communication, quoting, and order execution.
• Assist with pricing verification, purchasing support, and transactional execution.
• Analyze customer and supplier accounts for volume, revenue, profitability, and pricing trends.
• Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, forecasts, and analytical summaries.
• Coordinate logistics and resolve transportation and shipment issues.
• Maintain ERP data integrity and pricing records.
