Responsibilities

• Execute new and renewal business activity by quoting, placing, binding, and confirming policies.
• Market insurance products by identifying appropriate coverage solutions for less complex risks.
• Negotiate coverage terms with carriers within underwriting and pricing parameters.
• Serve as primary contact for agents on assigned accounts, managing communication in a high-volume environment.
• Ensure submissions and policy information are accurate, including risk details and coverage structure.
• Monitor assigned accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and underwriting standards.
• Support production goals by driving deal flow and contributing to team performance.

• Ensure accuracy of submissions and policy information, including risk details and coverage structure


• Monitor assigned accounts to maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and underwriting standards


• Support production goals by driving transactional deal flow and contributing to overall team performance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant insurance designation preferred


• 1-3 years of experience within insurance, including quoting, placement, or account management responsibilities

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Appropriate state-specific insurance license preferred. Additional certifications may be pursued to support technical development and career progression.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting concepts, and market placement practices


• Ability to analyze risk information and match coverage solutions within defined guidelines


• Effective communication and relationship management skills with agents and carriers


• Ability to manage high-volume workflows with speed and accuracy


• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize competing demands


• Proficiency in systems and tools used to support quoting, placement, and servicing activities

The annual base salary for this position is $80k - $100k.
