Your Role:

The role of the Account Manager for MilliporeSigma’s OnePS Americas group is to increase market share and revenues by collaborating with pharmaceutical and biotech customers and prospects to solve their challenges. This position is primarily focused in Texas, along with AR, CO, & OK. As a member of the BioProcessing Americas team, you will sell a broad portfolio of products including filtration and purification technologies, process technologies, services, and raw materials (chemicals/cell culture media). Your responsibilities include creating value for customers and MilliporeSigma, managing projects and resources for growth, increasing market share, differentiating from competitors, and building upon the company’s reputation. Willingness to travel up to 20% within the territory, with occasional overnight stays, is required.

  • Identify customers through cold calling and outreach to understand needs and provide solutions using MilliporeSigma products and expertise.
  • Develop strategic plans for short- and long-term revenue growth.
  • Maintain regular presence within your territory to build relationships.
  • Coordinate and participate in customer audits, technical visits, and educational programs; deliver presentations and coordinate resources for customer visits.
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision makers; attend tradeshows and provide booth coverage as needed.
  • Utilize sales tools such as CRM and SFDC to document interactions and gain efficiencies.
  • Travel up to 20% within the territory, with occasional overnight stays, to enhance customer engagement.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in bioprocessing sciences, chemical, biochemical engineering, or similar discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital sales within the Life Sciences industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to influence and sell at all organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of cGMP pharmaceutical and biotech processes.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and independent work ethic.
  • Experience as a remote employee.
  • Decisiveness and ability to build business cases.
  • Effective questioning skills for diagnosing customer needs.

Base salary range: $62,500 - $119,600/year.
