Job summary

Impact Connects in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Inserter Operator II for the Lettershop Production department. This hourly, non-exempt role runs 6 am–2:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with opportunities to lead a small team and ensure accurate, timely production.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of progressive inserting experience. You will follow SOPs, operate inserting equipment, and maintain safe, efficient production areas.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of progressive inserting experience.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets.
• Ability to operate inserting equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job tickets.
• Know, follow and teach Letter Shop SOPs.
• Operate inserting equipment properly and safely.
• Be responsible for quality and quantity of each assigned job.
• Act as lead for machine's assigned workers and ensure quality outcomes.
• Set up inserters efficiently and correctly.
• Read and understand all related forms and paperwork.
• Keep production areas clean at all times.
• Rotate to other machine positions to train others.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
