Job summary

INX International seeks an Inplant Ink Technician to work at our customer's site. The technician serves as a liaison between INX and the customer and maintains INX's on-site ink room, performing color matching, ink production and dispensing, and ensuring production aligns with the customer's schedule.

You will review scheduling with the customer, provide press-side technical support, manage inventory, complete monthly reports, and perform QC tests while upholding safety requirements and building

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to match colors and pass a color vision test.
• Effective communication with peers and customers.
• Excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Good organization skills.
• 2–5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationship with the customer.
• Review scheduling and coordinate jobs with the customer.
• Be available for service call-ins as needed.
• Perform technical service, color matching, ink production and dispensing ink.
• Evaluate production requirements based on customer schedule changes.
• Control Work-off.
• Inventory management and monthly consignment counts.

• Perform Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches.

Job Description

We are seeking anInplant Ink Technicianto work at our customer's site. The technician will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room. As an Inplant Tech you will be responsible for:

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
• Be able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
• Effectively communicate with peers and customers
• Have excellent written, reading comprehension andmath skills
• Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
• Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
• Have good organization skills
• 2 to 5 years of work relatedexperience

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

• Spectrophotometer knowledge & experience helpful
• Technically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products
• Familiar with X-Rite IQC
• Flexible packaging knowledge
• Flexographic printing knowledge
• Solvent ink knowledge
• Previous lab, inplant, and warehouse experience
• SAP Knowledge
