Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year clinical ultrasound experience in the department.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word).
• Active registry with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or ARDMS on hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking abilities for safe job performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostic ultrasound exams in ED, ICU, surgical, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and optimize image quality in high-stress environments.
• Mentor ultrasound students and contribute to department education.
• Participate in accreditation and re-accreditation processes and maintain compliance with standards.
• Follow policies for invasive or specialized exams as applicable.
