Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks a CT Scan Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images, following safety and protocol standards.

You will collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff, maintain equipment, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in ongoing quality control. ARRT certification and state radiography license required; BLS within 60 days; 2 years radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of CT scanning principles and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality images and detect artifacts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and collaboration with medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to capture detailed diagnostic images following protocols.
• Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to discuss findings.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and quality control.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of results.
