Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Technician for inpatient rehabilitation on our main campus. You will assist therapists with patient mobility, transfers, ADLs, and therapeutic exercises, while ensuring safety and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, transport, and maintaining logs, with a focus on infection prevention and compassionate service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience as a Therapy Technician in healthcare preferred.
• Experience as CNA/PCT or similar patient-care role will be considered.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks under supervision of a licensed therapist.
• Assist with patient mobility activities: gait training, transfers, ADLs, therapeutic exercises.
• Help transport patients to/from therapy sessions.
• Prepare, set up, and take down therapy equipment.
• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies, perform equipment inspections.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures to ensure safety.
• Keep treatment areas clean and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families and coworkers.
• Support Methodist Rehabilitation mission through teamwork and professional conduct.
