Job summary

BlueRidge Vista Behavioral Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking an Inpatient Therapist (LPC/LSW) for the day shift. The role offers a $50–70k annual salary with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and weekend availability.

You will lead assessments, group therapies, and discharge planning within regulatory timelines. We value strong crisis intervention skills and licensure in LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, or LMFT, with preference for 1+ year inpatient experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with state licensure (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LMFT)
• 1+ year inpatient or acute behavioral health experience preferred
• Strong group therapy and crisis intervention skills

Responsibilities

• Complete therapy assessments and treatment plans within regulatory timeframes.
• Facilitate daily groups (CBT/DBT/psychoeducation), family sessions, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate aftercare with community providers; remove barriers to continuity.
• Document progress notes that reflect measurable goals and outcomes.
• Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
• Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams.
