Job summary

Lakeside Behavioral Health System in Memphis seeks a Therapist to deliver clinical social work services on a designated unit. You will conduct psychosocial assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy consistent with hospital philosophy.

The role involves participation in treatment planning, discharge planning, and crisis intervention, with liaison duties to referral sources and hospital teams. MSW and inpatient MH experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required; licensure preferred.
• Experience with psychiatric mental health population; inpatient setting preferred.
• TN LCSW, LPC, LP licensure preferred.
• Knowledge of discharge planning, case management, crisis and behavior management.
• Supervision by Director of Social Services, Program Directors, Program Coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services on a designated unit aligned with Lakeside’s philosophy.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments; deliver individual, group, and family therapy.
• Engage in treatment team planning, discharge planning, and case management.
• Provide crisis intervention and liaison with referral sources and hospital departments.
