Job summary

Columbus Springs East is seeking an Inpatient Therapist to join our behavioral health team in Columbus, OH. The role involves providing individual and group therapy, participating in treatment planning, discharge and after-care planning, and family sessions as needed.

Applicants must have a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent and an active OH license, with CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent.
• Current clinical or social work license in the state of OH.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Prior experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
• Displays active involvement in treatment planning process.
• Displays active involvement in the discharge, transition, and after-care planning treatment process.
• Family session counseling to ensure communication and involvement of family members and support groups as therapeutically necessary.
• Actively communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources, within HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Documents all correspondence with patients and other stakeholders.
