Job description

Cedar Springs Hospital is seeking a talented and dynamic Inpatient Therapist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!

*Full-Time, Days, Friday - Monday, 10-hour shift

Responsibilities:

The Therapist role is designed to provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients within the acute care, residential or outpatient settings. Additionally, therapists have the primary responsibility for treatment and discharge planning and interface with community agencies and referral sources throughout the client's course of treatment. As the Acute Care Social Worker, this individual will have oversight of all social work functions for acute patients and staff. This would include Psychosocial Assessments, Treatment Plans and Active Treatment, Discharge Planning, and social work personnel.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Requires strong organizational and communication skills, working knowledge of personal computer, ability to maintain confidentiality. Able to complete required clinical paperwork according to established protocol and regulatory agency requirements. Must be able to maintain professional and appropriate boundaries with clients and families. Ability to act professionally in high stress situations.
