Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking a qualified clinical nurse to join our inpatient care team. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific group of patients, performing professional nursing duties across the care continuum.

You will evaluate outcomes, readiness for discharge, and revise plans as needed, while serving as a role model and mentor to students and newer nurses on the unit.

Qualifications

• 2+ years telemetry experience required.
• 2+ years inpatient acute care nursing experience required.
• BSN required; active RN license in California preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a care plan for assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and advocate for patients throughout the care continuum.
• Evaluate outcomes, plan effectiveness, and readiness for discharge; adjust as needed.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses on the unit.
