Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Registered Nurse for Surgical Inpatient care on the night shift. The role is full-time at 36 hours per week (0.9 FTE). Compensation is hourly, with a range of $34.50 to $55.20 per hour.

Requires a BSN, Illinois RN license, and BLS. The nurse will perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate care, educate patients, and participate in discharge planning within a patient-first culture.

Qualifications

• BSN and active IL Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments with documented findings.
• Communicates changes in patient condition promptly to care team.
• Develops and updates plans of care with measurable goals.
• Assists with discharge planning and referrals as needed.
• Ensures medication reconciliation and patient education at bedside.
