Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL seeks a PA-C or APRN for inpatient care in the MMG, Evening Shift. You’ll assist physicians, manage post-operative and inpatient care, and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver world-class cancer treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse program.
• Active Florida medical license and national certification.
• Active BLS and ACLS (AHA approved).
• Experience in oncology or general internal medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Responds to inpatient consults and assesses patients.
• Formulates treatment plans within scope of practice.
• May perform minor surgical procedures.
• Prescribes oral and IV medications when appropriate.
• Documents patient care per medical staff rules.
