Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL seeks an Inpatient Malignant Hematology APRN or PA-C to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced oncology inpatient setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, manage, and treat patients with complex cancer-related conditions.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida medical license and national certification, with BLS and ACLS and experience in oncology or internal medicine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
• Active FL medical license and national certification.
• Active BLS and ACLS (AHA approved).
• Experience in oncology or general internal medicine; prior specific experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Assists physicians with evaluation and management.
• Formulates treatment plans within scope of practice.
• May perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice.
• Prescribes oral and IV medications when appropriate.
• Documents patient care in medical records.
