Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking an NP/PA for the Surgical Cardiology inpatient team. Responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnosis, and possibly assisting in surgeries. This role requires licensure in Texas and certifications in Basic Life Support (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). The position operates on a rotating schedule with 10-hour shifts and requires weekend call once a month.

Qualifications

• 1 year of pediatric nursing experience or related specialty preferred.
• Cardiology experience as an advanced practice provider is highly preferred.
