Nuvance Health in Danbury, CT is seeking an Inpatient Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver comprehensive inpatient care for trauma/ACS and surgical oncology patients, focusing on perioperative management and multidisciplinary coordination.

The weekday-based role offers 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call coverage, emphasizing continuity of care and education for patients, families, and trainees.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Physician Assistant in Connecticut.
• RNFA for OR 1st assist role.
• ACLS required or must be obtained within onboarding timeframe.
• ATLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform inpatient rounds with the surgery team.
• Manage postoperative and non-operative surgical patients.
• Coordinate admission, transfer and discharge planning.
• Provide trauma and oncologic inpatient care and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
• Assist in the operating room as first assist when credentialed.
