Job summary

Mercy Health in Lorain, OH seeks a Nursing Manager for Inpatient Surgery. The ideal candidate holds a BSN, has at least 3 years of nursing leadership, and is licensed in Ohio. Masters preferred; certification in specialty areas is encouraged.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• MSN or MBA or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as professional nurse with leadership.
• 1 year experience in appropriate specialty area preferred.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• RN license in state (or compact).
• BLS preferred on hire; must obtain from approved source prior to patient care.
• Certifications based on unit requirements: PALS, ACLS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, NBCSN, Nurse Executive - preferred.
